Party Down!

For New Years, we had a Classy New Years Eve party. I had the cutest vintage dress that was a Goodwill find and fit perfectly! Here's to an awesome 2011 and another year of drawings!

Happy New Years everybody! I threw a super fun La Dolce Vita themed NYE party last night which went smashingly! Thank you to everybody who came by!! : D

Anyway, this also marks the end of my second "a drawing a day" project on my blog. I do have to admit- there were a few days in Nov/ Dec where the trip back from Italy and re-adjusting took its toll and I may be short of the 365 drawings, but all in all, I think it's still pretty complete!

What's my resolution for 2010 then?

365 more drawings! I'm doing a 100 girls in 100 days resolution with Girls Drawin Girls as well, so there may be some overlaps in my blog postings for the next three or so months ; D

Had a fantastic Halloween party and a great couples costume with my fiance (shotgun wedding zombie bride and groom), but man, I'm one tired zombie bride! (drawn at 6am- hence not being posted til now when I've had some time to sleep in and recover!)

Sorry for the late post- did this last night, but didn't have a chance to scan it in til now. Was out celebrating my upcoming wedding (ok, ok, I guess one could call it a "bachelorette" party)- we went to the haunted Queen Mary which was really fun. Great time with awesome friends!

6am sunrise

Threw a huge Labor Day party last night- just finished cleaning up at 6am!! thanks to everybody who came! It was awesome! This is a quick sketch of sunrise over the view from my balcony at dawn before I got to bed (just got to scanning it in today)...

SMASH PARTY!!

Just got back from Titmouse Studio's Smash Party. Had a great time, but managed to smash two of my fingers by accident while attacking a monitor with a lead pipe. Managed to finally finish the monitor off with a sledge hammer, but man do my fingers hurt (think of slamming your fingers in a car door- pretty similar) Otherwise had an awesome time and got to see SO many great animation peeps!!
