end or our Parisian adventure!
Damon and I managed to find a mask store (which, btw, was PACKED) and get some simple costume supplies- I got a cat mask and ears, and he got a super hero mask, and we went out and made our own fun by staging a photo shoot by some of the old art nouveau Metro stations. SO much fun!!

Sleepy zombie bride!
Had a fantastic Halloween party and a great couples costume with my fiance (shotgun wedding zombie bride and groom), but man, I'm one tired zombie bride! (drawn at 6am- hence not being posted til now when I've had some time to sleep in and recover!)

400th post! WOW!
I've made it to my 400th post! Happy 400 little blog!
The title of this one is "It's beginning to look a lot like Halloween!" Screw Christmas! Halloween is where you have all the fun anyway ; ) Worked on getting the house decorated and my costume one step closer to being finished tonight... one more night!

Gentlemen prefer... Brains?
Damon and I did a test run of some of our zombie makeup for next week tonight at our art opening (THANK YOU to everybody who came out!), so we went as zombie Marilyn Monroe and Elvis. Afterwards, we went over to Hollywood to shoot some goofy zombie themed photos at Graumann's Chinese Theatre. Too much fun!!

Witchy-poo!
I love Halloween- something so creative and energetic about planning costumes and decorating that everybody gets into the spirit of. Here's a cute little witch to help get in the holiday spirit of things!

Two for one today! A unicorn and a Thought Faucet inspired vampire!
(I've discovered that the extra pages in my sketchbook from ex libris anonymous make excellent pages for doing watercolor work on, so that's why there's random text in the backgrounds of these. The original book that my sketchbook is from is an old Serendipity book "Flutterby." I think I had that as a kid originally- so awesome!!)
