Sorry for the radio silence, folks. Been a real busy fall, been drawing and creating art, but it's hard to keep up scanning recently. 

Anyway, I got a few little commissions over the holidays, plus a tiny secret santa gift, so I figured I'd share here in the meantime.

RIP Bettie Page

I was sad to learn that the legendary Bettie Page passed away. She was such a cutie- I loved her sense of joy and the fact that she had curves and was so comfortable with her body.  She will be missed!

I figured she'd be a good fit for Illustration Friday's theme "Rambunctious" because one would think the amateur photo shoots would be very rambunctious, but they could actually be very orderly and quiet. Also, (fun fact!) she was the first model that worked with and allowed African American men to photograph her in the photo clubs/ pin-up sessions.
