Retro Cat 12/23
I inherited this awesome ceramic cat from my grandmother when she passed away- it's very 50s looking, and one day I'll have enough room in my luggage to bring it back out west, but every time I go home, I love admiring it since it's on display in my old bedroom.

RIP Bettie Page
I was sad to learn that the legendary Bettie Page passed away. She was such a cutie- I loved her sense of joy and the fact that she had curves and was so comfortable with her body. She will be missed!
I figured she'd be a good fit for Illustration Friday's theme "Rambunctious" because one would think the amateur photo shoots would be very rambunctious, but they could actually be very orderly and quiet. Also, (fun fact!) she was the first model that worked with and allowed African American men to photograph her in the photo clubs/ pin-up sessions.
