Shark Week Mermaid!

In honor of shark week, I am drawing sharks with mermaids!

More rabbit girls

Triumphant return!

I'm back! Sorry for the long absence; was traveling cross-country with my husband and WOW did we have some crazy adventures! I'll be trying to update over the next few days, so be prepared for lots of drawings with even more stories attached!

I think this was for an old Illustration Friday theme, serpent, which has long since passed, but if you want to keep count, this is my illo from May 28th.

Another Harpy study

Sailors beware!

Lorelei, one of the beautiful Rhine Maidens.

Also, thanks to everybody who came out to the art opening tonight! It was so great seeing everybody! : D

Remember, for you LA area folks, you can still visit the gallery Tuesday-Sunday to stop by and see the show through August 7th!

Blonde Bombshell series

Oh! one more thing- Got my Blonde Bombshell triptych finished for the Cactus show; will post the details tomorrow! Here are the paintings ( I also fixed a few things on the Marilyn piece as well)

Harlow on the Harp

Playing around with the idea of blonde bombshells and heavenly themes!

Also, managed to get out a quick little painting (5"x7") done tonight based on last night's doodle- pretty happy with the result- already sent in a jpg to Cactus Gallery for my submission! :D

Starry Night Marilyn

A quick concept for a possible tiny painting for an upcoming art show- not sure if I'll have time, but just a quick doodle for now! (theme is icons and legends for Eagle Rock's Cactus Gallery)
