Figure drawing

Didn't get a chance to stay for all of figure drawing tonight since I had to leave early to do taxes and crunch numbers (bleh!), so don't have many drawings... here's one of my favorites from tonight...

PIRATES!!!

Our figure drawing model tonight at Film Roman was dressed as a pirate, and he had tons of props! (and a musical score to boot! we drew to music from Hook, Treasure Island, and probably a few of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies).

It was, in one word, awesome.

Figure Drawing fun!

Went to figure drawing hosted by Film Roman tonight (just started a new job on Wow! Wow! Wubzy!) It was SO nice to draw from life and just stretch out those ol' figure drawing muscles. These are 5 and 10 minute poses.

Quick sketch

Too tired to think up something creative, so just drew my sister hanging out. Enjoy!

day 30- scribbles

trying a new way of sketching; scribbling randomly on paper and finding defining shapes within it, and working a drawing out of that. Apparently there are lots of naked girls in my scribbles ;)
(thanks tyree!)

Figure Drawing, 1/22/08

Figure drawing tonight at film roman; I have a sketch book from ex libris anonymous (awesome site- highly recommend for unique one of a kind sketchbooks!), which used to be a book about fish. When they make the sketch books, they keep some of the original pages in the book to add personality; figured it'd be fun to draw my figures on the original pages left.
