Painting studies for Art For Pitties project

I did a painting on a canvas tote for the benefit art auction, Art For Pitties, and these are my studies and the final piece!

Apparently, "Halloween, it's not very French" Undeterred, Damon and I went out in costume, found a cafe facing all the action at St. Michel, and drew some of the characters / people that we observed... (some in costume, some not!)

The drawing theme for the Girls Drawin' Girls blog this week is Marilyn Monroe, so this is a rough sketch based off her bathing suit pin-up photos .... (so cute!!)

Not feeling very inspirational today, so it's Fin Fang Foom from the husband's toy collection for tonight! Think he's a pretty cool dragon figure, actually, even if I don't know too much about him....
