Illustration Friday: Primitive

This week's Illustration Friday theme made me think of paleolithic cave paintings (especially Pech Merle), so I drew up some primitive cave horses and played around with color. Really enjoyed this week's theme and result! Enjoy!

oh my god! this totally reminds me of an MF Hussain painting.... don't know if you know him but he's 92 and one of the most happening Indian artists. (rich too... now)

anyway, i absolutely love it! you know the thing about art and displaying art is to consider how it would look on your wall.... and this would look absolutely awesome on mine :)

and i think I'll buy the Indian woman too... she looks very north indian. and it's amazing how you've captured the flavour of her personality in the colours and her expressions.

Those cave paintings are one of my favorites, so simple and beautiful. You did a wonderful job with your line work and colors, a really lovely illustration.
