Bird Show at Cactus Gallery

Join us this Saturday for the Bird Show at Cactus Gallery in Eagle Rock, CA! I have a few pieces in it- a bit last second, but I'm glad Sandra was able to make room for me so last minute! Here are (some!) of the pieces in the show- they're all sketches/pieces from my blog, but framed / mounted on wood panel and finished a bit more...

Cactus Gallery is pleased to start out 2009 by hosting a special art show for the Animal Protection Institute (API). API strives to fight animal abuse wherever it occurs. For more info:www.api4animals.org and www.NationalBirdDay.com

Last day at post ranch

Our last day at Post Ranch, we woke up to see a sea of clouds/ fog covering the ocean view, but it was still breathtaking. While Damon and I were lounging on our balcony munching on our breakfast, a flock of 20+ wild turkies came meandering by on the hillside. It was crazy!  Then, on our drive out, we saw two deer right by the entrance to the Inn, as if Post Ranch was bidding us Adieu...

The drive back down was gorgeous, but cold and foggy- we lucked out weather wise and as if the weather held out just for us!

It was an absolutely incredible weekend- we feel so incredibly lucky, not just for the amazing time and weekend, but for having each other as husband and wife. (ok, I know I'm gushing, but it's exactly how we feel!)
