Was having trouble trying to think of something to draw for this week's Illustration Friday; finally thought of something! Maybe a bit obvious, but ties into my recent dragon theme lately!
Bonus points for anyone who gets the golden arm-band reference ; ) (hint: it's from one of my favorite books!)

Lovley piece, nicely handled watercolour!
Not sure on the arm band, but it puts me in mind of Smaug from the Hobbit.
Lovely :) Is the armband from one of the Narnia books?
Really cute dragon! It may be a bit obvious, but I just love the curves of that dragon. Very nice.
Yes...very nice indeed! Love your colors.
oh, I know all about the arm band. In the Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Eustace discovers a dragon's lair and puts the band on his arm then falls asleep on the gold. When he wakes up, he has been transformed into a dragon, and the arm band is consequently very tight. The arm band originally belonged to one of the lost travelers. I'm such a dork! That was my favorite book as a kid. Nice work :)
Sarah- yup! It's from The Voyage of the Dawn Treader; one of the Narnia books. One of the characters, Eustace, turns into a dragon because he puts a gold armband on his arm that he finds in a dragon's hoard. :D
Great colors and nice composition !
Narnia or not Narnia.
Very nice illo. great shapes and colors. Like the texture of it to.
Wonderful dragon. Really like how you handled the tendrils of smoke.
Great dragon. I like his head pointing up and how the rest of his body seems so relaxed. Simple, and effective. Lovely composition. Very nice!
