Been fighting headaches all day; sort of inspired by athena, her owl, and heads splitting open (I know, I know, athena sprung forth from Zeus's head, but bear with me). enjoy!

For Illustration Friday; presenting the legend of Queen Califia, "the legendary Black Amazon warrior queen, associated with the mythical Island of California"... I made her more a blend of South American looking (aztec), and added fire, since Southern California has experienced so much fire this past year, it made sense to have it's namesake as a warrior spirit with fire.
