Here's one of my pieces from the Girls Drawin Girls Meltdown show! It's my piece for October for the GDG Art Calendar (on sale here!) You can see the original painting (also for sale!) up at Meltdown Gallery through the end of August.

I've also made this beauty into a magnet on zazzle if you're so inclined to have her on your fridge as well as your wall!

For my GDG Calendar... just some studies! Maybe instead of a Halloween themed girl, a Day of the Dead themed girl? (i.e. a pinup calaca ?)

Just a reminder! This Saturday, October 25th is the artist reception for the Skullz Day of the Dead show at Cactus Gallery in Eagle Rock, CA.  I'll be there, along with a bunch of my talented friends who are also in the show!

Also, my piece sold already (YAY!) I'm so happy!!! So come and see it in person because it's really neat; the photos don't do it justice with the sculptural element.

Para Los Niños

This is my piece for an upcoming Day of the Dead group show at Cactus Gallery in Eagle Rock, CA.  It was inspired by the colors and motifs of sugar skull candy and the idea of a shrine/alter to honor the passing or death of a loved one. In this case, an alter to childhood.
