Ahhh... back at the shore

One of my favorite places in Delaware is going down to Lewes and Rehoboth Beach in the summer. Since moving out to LA, I haven't been back east in the summertime, so being able to bring Damon and his mom down and show them a big part of growing up was SO great! Plus, I won a tiny stuffed shark playing skeeball at Funland that kitten loves to play with.

For an old thought faucet theme, Bond Pin up girl. Meant to do more on this one, but it's gotten to the point where I just have to do something, rendered or not!  I also meant to do her more pin-up pose-y, but (shrug). I sort of like my interpretation, so there ya go : D

Best pick-up line ever?

So, my sister and I went to the beach in Malibu today, and while playing in the surf (mainly goofing off and taking pictures of one another), we noticed this guy hanging near our stuff. I saw him lean down/ reach for something on our blanket and we were like "HEY!" and ran up, since we thought he was trying to steal something, but he seemed really surprised/embarrassed and said he was just leaving a business card for his surfing business. We saw the business card on our towel, and he seemed sort of nervous, but he left, so we didn't think much of it past that.

Later, we went to go leave, and I picked the card up, and on the other side was this- (see scanned in pic). Ha ha ha ha!!! That would be why he was so nervous about being caught.

Not sure if he was referring to me or my sister, but it's been our official line to each other all day long. "Wow. Nice tush!"

Artist's block

Had a hard time thinking of something to draw tonight; finally came up with this one. It's my take on the Hans Christian Anderson tale of the Little Mermaid where she washes up on shore with her new legs. Because yes, apparently I'm still on a mermaid fix. ha ha!
