Fire on my mind

It's hard to work all day when all you can think about is the fires going on. Wish I could be up in the canyon with my horse and making sure everything is ok/ helping out at the stable.  I heard they weren't allowing people into the canyon still due to hotspots and flare-ups, but last I heard, the horses are all ok still.

150th post!

Yup! it's my blog's 150th post. How happy!

In other news, saw a crazy car fire today outside work during lunchtime. My office mates dubbed it the "ford exploder." It was pretty impressive! Luckily, nobody was hurt, but we got to see the fire truck arrive and them put it out. Talk about a lot of melted plastic! (interesting fact- those "popping" sounds that you hear when a car goes up in flames are either the tires popping or the airbags going off)
