Underwater buddha, take 3
Early post today! Had some extra time after work to play around with this some more. Took some more time and I've been figuring stuff out with new brushes and textures, and finally used some underwater reference for close up texture work... Finally got it to a point that I'm happy with- enjoy!

More underwater color studies

Some more variations on the buddha head under water- still just a rough color study, but I think this one better defines lights/darks and doesn't compromise color saturation in the statuary.

speed painting
More a color study than anything- not tons of detail, but trying to get the underwater ambiance combined with warmer colors from sunken ruins/statuary. i might come back to this theme and re-work it- I'd like to eventually do a nice "underwater sunken head" piece that's more finished...
