Betta Mermaid
You would think my love for mermaids and for Betta Fish would have resulted in this drawing way before now, but yes, it did take this long to combine the two.

Mr. Pink the betta
This is a watercolor study of an old betta i used to have who's long since passed; he was one of the original three I first had (I have had many, many bettas over the years; I'm currently down to around 9 at the moment)- I loved his coloration because it was this soft pastel pink and purple, and I used to keep him in a bowl with a fake rubber anemone that he loved hiding in.

Super Spy the fish
Got a small canvas today to test resin on for a larger piece; haven't applied the resin yet, but here's the painting (tiny, acrylic on 4"x6" canvas with glitter on the body of the fish).

The Wonderful Mr. Wiggles
Mr. Wiggles is one of my bettas, who unfortunately is pretty sick right now, so this is sort of in honor of him. I got him about 2 and a half years ago, and the "wiggles" in his name comes from the little curly-Qs and tendrils his tail used to have. He's a good fish- a lot of spirit and personality. He is, the Wonderful Mr. Wiggles.
