New Vintage Coat!

Found a wonderful 1960s vintage coat this weekend- got to wear it out today and felt SO cute in it, so I had to do a drawing about it!

Mad Men Girls

Watching AMC's Mad Men and really impressed with the style and fashion of the women, but wow did everybody smoke all the time back then!

Haight and Ashbury- 7/6/08

My fiance took me to see the neighborhood of Haight and Ashbury while we were up in San Franscisco visiting his parents; pretty much like Melrose down here in LA, just slightly more hippie! Thought I'd pay tribute to it's original (real) hippie roots, though, and the spirit of what it once truly was and not what it's become. (and yes, those are flowers in her hair. ha ha!)
