Illustration Friday: Pale

Was working with colored pencils on cardboard, and was thinking how pretty white bones are both in form and in color against the texture of the brown paper surface.  I was thinking the colors and skeletons as being pale, but also trying to infuse it with a glow of color at the same time... enjoy! : D

This is brilliantly creepy! Like the cardboard texture too.

I love how you use interesting material/canvas - it's something I want to start doing but I feel enslaved to the 'white paper' routine :)

i like the green you used for the glow effect. i also like how you drew over the crease in the cardboard. it blends into the ribs. it's sort of like a merry-go-round pole.
