Ahhh... back at the shore

One of my favorite places in Delaware is going down to Lewes and Rehoboth Beach in the summer. Since moving out to LA, I haven't been back east in the summertime, so being able to bring Damon and his mom down and show them a big part of growing up was SO great! Plus, I won a tiny stuffed shark playing skeeball at Funland that kitten loves to play with.

Crab Mermaid

While we were back east in Delaware, I FINALLY had the experience of bashing steamed blue crabs with a mallet and eating them. Up til now, it had grossed me out, and I didn't like crabmeat, but I finally have grown to like crab, and figured I should try it out. Verdict: YUM!
