Watercolor success!

So, after buying a smaller and finer toothed paper, and just sitting down and drawing for a couple hours straight, I've found a very happy style that is making sense to me and I'm very much enjoying working with... more watercolors, and staying away from the gouaches...

these are all from the The Ospedale degli Innocenti (Hospital of the Innocents).  I did a bunch of watercolors, then some ink on colored paper with colored conte crayon, then some more watercolors while strolling around Florence... (but I'll split up the posts to help organize them!)
