Giant Freshwater Stingray Mermaid

We saw this awesome program on TV that was about these monster freshwater stingrays in Thailand. These things are INCREDIBLE: seriously massive. Anyway, inspired this drawing here... it's sort of a baby monster stingray...

Two for One Kitten Drawings

Here is a drawing of Inky and an illustration of our lil' family road trip we took last week. We packed up the two boys (ok, three if you include Damon) and headed up to Sonoma for a week with Damon's mom and family. The kittens immediately took to "grandma's" house and had a blast on their mini-vacation!

My two boys

Rocket and Inky are finally getting along, and both are growing at a pretty good pace! It's so awesome having an armful of kittens!

Girl in a bubble

It's sort of like one of those plastic egg chairs, but suspended with a chain and with a sexy lady inside. Ideally, she's a red-head.

Another backlog!

man, i keep running into these back-logs of drawings, don't I?

: P

anyway, here's the latest slew!

Been busy with making art for the CRAZY number of group shows i'm in this fall, starting my new job on Ricky Gervais Season 2, and traveling with the husband for family.

OH, and killer headaches. Always with the headaches!

Anyway, here's an older sketch I did around the same time as the flute girl:

KIRBY KRACKLE "Zombie Apocalypse" Official Music Video Animated

The music video that me and Damon O'Keefe have been working hard on for the past few months finally launched today!! : D
Damon basically directed the entire thing, and did all the character designs and 90% of the animation; I helped with some animation, and all the color, texture and editing/compositing. A huge thanks to the talented men of Kirby Krackle and all the love and support from our friends and family!

Enjoy, and please share!!! : D

Sex Bob-Omb

so, my husband and I went to go see Scott Pilgrim the other night. It was... ok. I seriously don't get all the hoopla about why it's so amazing; I thought Scott was a bit of a schmuck, and honestly, Ramona was too good for him. I'd be curious to see why everybody else likes it; it wasn't bad, I just don't understand all the fuss. I read the first book and really couldn't get into it. I wish it was more about the relationship between Scott and Ramona and not fight sequence after fight sequence. Plus, Scott being a schmuck and dating a. a high schooler and b. sorta cheating on her REALLY bugged me. (shrug)

The best performance / actress I dug was the hot redhead Kim Pine.
I thought she'd make a cute surly pin-up with those drumsticks.

Also, check out the rad animated video my friend Allison Craig directed over at Titmouse featuring Kim and Scott in their high school days. Congrats Allison! : D
